Secondly, I had to find schools, with the classes that were affordable. I looked for the cheapest way out, but not too cheap, where it is not a desired learning environment. Another idea had to consider was whether or not I was gone going to college out-of-state, or in the city where I resided. I hear that it was cheaper to leave the state, but I wanted to be close to my family, so I have decided to pay for it! I even found a school, minutes from where I live, Clayton State College. Here in college I liked, I had more than several schools from which to choose. Nonetheless, I chose Clayton State because someone that I knew personally, in this field, graduated from this school, and was doing really well. This person did not have their own establishment, but they made good money, and it is nothing like choosing a career that paid well.
The month of April is Oral Health Month and an important part of this celebration is National Dental Hygienists Week™, celebrated annually in the second week of April. Focusing on the importance of maintaining good oral health practices and helping Canadians understand the role and importance of the dental hygiene profession, this annual event is sponsored by the Canadian Dental Hygienists Association (CDHA). The week's theme, "Oral Health for Total Health" reminds all of us that taking care of our mouth, teeth and gums positively impacts on other aspects of our lives.
