In conclusion, social media plays a negative role on today’s society by continuously putting users of social media in danger, limiting face to face socializing skills, and exposing our society to explicit materials. Bad things about social media need to change. There needs to be more restrictions blocking access to inappropriate sites, and security needs to drastically tighten on this essay on social media profiles, or the future generation that will be running the world will incapable of doing the job correctly. –Which effects everybody, and the generations to come.

Look at the critical comments by Lederwood at the end. They are, at most, a grudging acknowledgment that evidence of gaps, alone, do not constitute discrimination. I recommend you read her linked essay (if you are looking for evidence of the "gap=discrimination" presumption). Or just look at her defense. First, she characterizes my analysis as "oversimplified" -- when, in fact, it is more complex than one that presumes gap=discrimination. Second, although she defends her essay by casting it as "speculation," look at the nature of that speculation. She and her colleagues brought to bear "relevant research" -- but the only such research brought to bear is research demonstrating "obstacles" and "discrimination"!
