Recommended Academic Plans provide, in table form, the suggested courses that students schedule semester by semester for each beginning campus, as they pursue a specific College of Engineering undergraduate degree. Each college or campus maintains Recommended Academic Plans for its own majors/degree programs. Links to the College of Engineering plans are available through: http:///AdvisingCenter/GraduationRequirements. Questions concerning the Recommended Academic Plans should be directed to the college or campus involved or the Division of Undergraduate Studies.

I can guarantee that our players are going to work really hard and that we want to be in a position to win. And we want to have the right mindset to know that we trained hard enough that we feel that we deserve to win. But, there's no guarantee that you're going to win. There are certain variables that are out of your control — injuries, kids just not being competitive enough or not focused enough. That's one of the things that's tough about recruiting. If you told people the truth, then you feel like at least you've told them what it's going to be like when they get here. We've had some examples of players who came to Penn State because we were good, not because they wanted to be good.

The Penn State Department of Aerospace Engineering, established in 1961 and the only aerospace engineering department in Pennsylvania, is consistently recognized as one of the top aerospace engineering departments in the nation, and is also an international leader in aerospace education, research, and engagement. Our undergraduate program is ranked 15 th and our graduate programs are ranked 15 th nationally by . News & World Report , while one in 25 holders of a . degree in aerospace engineering in the . earned it from Penn State. Our students are consistently among the most highly recruited by industry, government, and graduate schools nationwide.

Welcome to the Brain, Language, and Computation Lab at the Penn State University. In our laboratory we conduct research to understand the neural and computational bases of language representation and learning. Our research specifically addresses the questions of Neuroplasticity (., how does language learning lead to experience-dependent brain changes?), Individual Differences (., how does cognitive capacity impact learning success?), and Knowledge Representation (., how does brain connectivity reflect knowledge and understanding?). Our approach focuses on the dynamic interactions in the learning-learner systems and the corresponding dynamic changes in the native and non-native cross-linguistic brains. To achieve our research goals, we rely on a variety of convergent behavioral, computational, and neuroimaging methodologies (., cognitive testing, artificial neural network modeling, and functional magnetic resonance imaging). Our research has been generously supported by the National Science Foundation .
